IPRally's MCP server gives your AI assistant direct access to IPRally patent search and analysis. Search patents, run landscape analyses, and retrieve document details, all from within the tools you already use.
The connection is read-only. It searches the shared patent corpus and retrieves public patent data. It does not access your IPRally workspace (saved searches, projects, collections, or monitoring), and there are no create, update, or delete operations.

Supported Applications
IPRally MCP is compatible with any AI application that supports the MCP standard. The following applications have been verified:
Claude (Anthropic): Claude.ai, Cowork, and Claude Code.
ChatGPT (OpenAI): requires a ChatGPT Plus, Team, or Enterprise subscription.
Microsoft 365 Copilot: requires enterprise IT management.
Gemini Enterprise: requires enterprise IT management.
Note: MCP support varies by application and subscription tier. Check your AI provider's documentation for whether your plan includes MCP / custom connector support.
Any additional MCP-compatible application can be enabled. Contact your IT to follow the setup for enterprise IT-managed environments.
Prerequisites
An active IPRally user account with a valid licence
One of the supported AI applications (or any MCP-compatible application)
No separate API key, MCP-specific account, or additional credentials are needed. You sign in with your existing IPRally credentials.
