How to use Prompt Assistant
You can find Prompt Assistant in the Shortcuts menu of the Single-patent Ask AI drawer or Multi-patent Ask AI box.
When clicking any of the options, the user will be provided with
A single-shot prompt that covers many aspects of the technology at once, AND
Multiple individual prompts that cover particular technical features, problems, solutions or topics.
After selection of the prompt, the user can edit the automatically generated prompt, before applying it, if needed.
Depending on the use case, the prompts are either Smart filter questions (Prior Art and FTO Review) or open-ended Ask AI questions (Technical Insights and Targeted Summarization). Examples are provided below.

Prior Art Review Questions
The aim of Prior Art Review questions is to find out whether all features of the query or any particular feature of the query is present in the document. Therefore the assistant breaks the query into features F1, F2, ... and makes a single-shot question and multiple targeted questions Q1, Q1, ... accordingly:
The assisted Prior Art Review questions are Smart filter -compatible, i.e. YES/NO questions.

Freedom to Operate Review Questions
The aim of Freedom to Operate Review questions is to find out whether the features of the query fall within the limitations (L1, L2, ...) of the of claims of the document. Therefore the assistant breaks the query into features F1, F2, ... and makes a single-shot question and multiple targeted questions Q1, Q1, ... accordingly:
The assisted Freedom to Operate Review questions are Smart filter -compatible, i.e. YES/NO questions.
⚠️ Disclaimer: The FTO problem is hard for AI and often more vaguely defined than Prior Art Review problem! Generative AI models often have difficulties in understanding the scope of limitations, and comparing them to the query, in particular when the amount of context is low. While the assistant can help you review the results faster and spot potentially interesting patents fast and with higher confidence, we recommend reviewing the results also manually.⚠️
